Gluten Free Caramel Slice



Ingredients

1 cup gluten-free plain flour

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup desiccated coconut

150g butter

395g sweetened condensed milk

2 tbs golden syrup

200g milk cooking chocolate


Method

1. Grease a slice pan and then line with baking paper.

2. Mix flour, sugar and coconut in a bowl and press through the butter until combined.

3. Press into slice tin and bake at 180C for 10 minutes.

3. While base is cooking, combine the condensed milk and golden syrup in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring continuously for 10 minutes.

4. Pour cooked caramel over base and return to the oven for a further 10 minutes.

5. Melt chocolate in microwave on 50% power for 2 minutes and pour over caramel.

6. Refrigerate.

7. Serve.
